Tokyo Film Camera Style vol.23［at the festival at Nezu Shrine］

This week’s cameras were some of the film ones I saw at the festival at Nezu Shrine in Tokyo’s Yanaka area. Where there’s a festival, you’ll find cameras.

 

今週のコラムに登場するカメラはすべて、今年行われた、谷中にある根津神社の祭りで見たものです。やっぱり、祭りがあるところにカメラは現れる！

 

Let’s start with this Mamiya 7II.

 

さて、マミヤ7Ⅱから始めましょう。

Mamiya 7II + N65mm F4 (+Lens hood for Mamiya 6)

 

Pretty cool, right?  The lens is the wide-angle 65mm. Look close- notice anything slightly different? That’s right, the lens hood is actually the one for the 50mm lens for the Mamiya 6.  The owner told me that he found out that they’re actually the same part- and it doesn’t vignette on the 65mm. And now you know.


かっこいいマミヤ7II、レンズは65mmです。しかしよく見てください、何か不思議ではありませんか？そう、レンズフードです。合わせているフードはマミヤ6の50mm用のもの。実は同じパーツらしいのです！

Asahi Pentax Spotmatic + Super Takmar 55mm F1.8

 

Number Two: this fine Asahi Pentax Spotmatic. The little lens thing above the pentaprism is the magnifier finder accessory flipped up.  I saw quite a few Spotmatics this year- good to see.

 

お次は立派なアサヒペンタックスSpotmaticです。ファインダーの上にある小さなレンズはマグニファイアです。今年はたくさんSpotmaticと出会っている気がします。

Olympus Pen EE-3

Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta（+Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 105mm F4.5）

 

At the Nezu Shrine grounds I spotted a young woman with a vintage Zeiss Ikon folder- and from her bag she pulled out a vintage Olympus Pen halfframe camera. Big and small film- she had it covered.

 

この根津神社で、ビンテージカメラ二刀流の女性を発見しました。

ハーフサイズのオリンパスペン！そして中判の蛇腹、ツァイス・イコンのレンジファインダー「スーパーイコンタ」！このコンビはすごいですね。さすが東京。　

 

4.

Rolleicord Ⅲ（+Xenar 75mm F3.5）

 

The last camera here is a clean Rolleicord I spotted in the hands of a young woman- no accessories with it, unless you count the classic Japanese festival food stall yakisoba noodles.  Nice. 

 

最後のフィルムカメラスタイルは二眼レフローライコードⅢです。クラシックでかっこいい。アクセサリーは屋台の焼きそば。最高。

 

So this was the first time this festival was held in four years- everyone was in good spirits. No matter where you looked there was something to push the shutter button at. I ended up shooting 14 rolls of film in one day.  Now all I gotta do is develop the film…

 

4年ぶりの秋祭り、とても盛り上がりました。どこを見てもシャッターチャンスだったので、私は一日14本のモノクロフィルムを撮ってしまった。そろそろ現像しなきゃ。
