Konica C35 EF3

 

今週のカメラスタイルは、5月末にあったチャリティ・フォトイベント「Photo Peace 2022 」で見たカメラを紹介させていただきます。参加者は100人以上だったので、面白いカメラがたくさん見られました。

まずはこのよく使われているコニカC35 EF3。この時代のコンパクトカメラはフィルム初心者に人気です。1990年代のコンパクトよりまだ安く見つけられるので、おすすめです。

 

This week's Camera Style entry features some cameras seen at Photo Peace 2022（http://photohoku.org/2022/03/28/photopeace-2022-may-29th/), a charity photowalk held in Shinjuku in late May. Over 100 people took part- a fun day of photography and friendship.

First up- a well used Konica C35 EF3- these are popular cameras for young photographers interested in getting into film. Cameras from this era of compacts are still common and more affordable than the full-auto ones that came later. They look nice, too.

ライカの最高コスパコンビ。ライカM4とM6の間の、M4-PとM4-2。カメラ屋さん以外で、なかなか同時に見られないですよ。あのブラッククロームボディとシルバーベースプレートはかっこいいね。

 

Two Post-M4 / Pre-M6 Leicas- an M4-2 and an M4-P. Nice to see them together- each is outfitted with a "budget" lens, making these reasonably affordable- and capable- Leica setups. (I really dig the chrome baseplate on the M4-2)

Fujifilm GA645 Professional

 

過小評価されちゃう、富士フイルムGA645 Professional。私の好きな「コンパクト」カメラです。中判のコンパクトね。実は、私も10年以上使っています。5年前まではどこのカメラ屋さんでも3万円前後で買えたんですが、もう一台買っておけばよかったです。


The Fujifilm GA645 Professional is one of the most underrated "compact" cameras out there- I've been shooting one for over ten years now and I regret not getting a second when they were still 30,000 yen in any shop in Tokyo.

中判カメラ集団発見。撮影散歩なのにこんな重いカメラを持って行く心意気、偉いですね。ヤシカマットの二眼レフはまだ軽い方！

 

A battalion of medium format shooters. Eighty pounds of Mamiya SLR around your neck would seem to make an all-day photo walk feel a lot longer but I admire such dedication. Here the Yashicamat is the "lightweight" - in terms of overall weight, of course.

HONEYWELL PENTAX 67 + SUPER-MULTI-COATED TAKUMAR 75mm F4.5

 

中判フィルムカメラをもう一台、名作のペンタックス67です。

このカメラ、よーく見てください。実は、このペンタックスはなかなか日本ではレアタイプです！わかるかな？（ヒントは「蜂蜜」）

 

One more medium format SLR: the venerable Pentax 67.  Despite what I said in the previous caption, I have walked a few hundred kilometers over the past few years with one of these over my shoulder. The cherry wood grip makes handling it much easier. And seeing in a print what these lenses can do seems to erase your shoulder pain. This version in particular is extremely rare to see in Japan- can you tell why? (Hint: take a look at the nameplate)
