UNBLEND

新宿御苑前のPlace Mにて、写真集団シメンソカ and 梶瑠美花「UNBLEND」が開催される。

 

• 前回のグループ展から9年。
  転職、離婚、家の購入――
  それぞれにさまざまな出来事がありました。
  多忙な日々のなかでも月に一度は集まり、写真談義を重ね、切磋琢磨してきた写真集団「シメンソカ」。
  このたび、今年4月に久しぶりとなるグループ展を開催いたします。
  
  今回は、梶瑠美花さんと共に4人での展示となります。
  梶さんとは2年前の塩竈フォトフェスティバルで出会いました。
  「写真出版賞 アート・ドキュメンタリー部門最優秀賞」
  「フジフイルム ポートフォリオレビューアワード 2024」を受賞されるなど、
  精力的に写真活動を続けていらっしゃいます。
  
  写真展のタイトルは「UNBLEND」
  4人の個性は、あえて混ざり合わない。
  それぞれが持つ異なる世界観を、ぜひご覧いただけましたら幸いです。

  <sup>Nine years have passed since our last group exhibition.
  During that time, we each experienced many changes—career shifts, divorce, buying a home.
  Even amid our busy lives, we continued to meet once a month,
  discussing photography and pushing one another forward as the photo collective Shimenso-ka.
  This April, we will finally hold a long-awaited group exhibition.
  
  This time, we will be exhibiting as a group of four, joined by Rumika Kaji.
  We first met Kaji two years ago at the Shiogama Photo Festival.
  She has been actively pursuing her photographic work, receiving honors such as the Grand Prize in the Art &
  Documentary Category of the Photography Publishing Award and the Fujifilm Portfolio Reviewer Award 2024.
  The title of the exhibition is “UNBLEND.”
  The four of us embrace our individuality—intentionally unblended.
  We hope you will enjoy the distinct worlds each of us brings to the show.</sup>
